TULA Bright All Night Sheet Mask Review

I love face mask! The sheet mask and the DIY face mask, all serve different purposes. Sheet face mask are perfect to use instantly and quickly.

I recently had the opportunity to try a few of the TULA Skincare Bright All Night face mask. TULA Skincare is based in NYC, USA and offers a variety of skincare items for all skin types. The Bright All Night mask was created to boost your radiance by reducing redness and locking in moisture.

Sheet mask features from their website

  • Probiotics + Fermented Birch Water: help instantly soothe and energize stressed and tired skin.
  • Hyaluronic Acid + Citrus Extract: help plump the appearance of skin and increase the look of radiance.

What’s so great about using products with probiotics? Dermatologist and author, Dr. Whitney Bowe recently told Fox “Using a probiotic topical not only provides a protective shield, preventing harmful bugs in your environment from taking hold and causing infection, but also triggers the production of natural moisturizers in the skin, keeping the skin barrier healthy”

How to use the face mask

  • Start with a facial wash to remove dirt and makeup.
  • Unfold the mask and place on your face. The mask has cutouts for eyes, mouth and nose.
  • Leave on for 10 minutes and remove.
  • Rub any excess serum into the face just like a moisturizer.

My thoughts

The last several weeks my face has been very red and winter damaged. The cold air has done a good job of leaving my face super dry, unbalanced and red. Even with the use of daily moisturizers my skin has been struggling. I have been using makeup to conceal the redness because it drives me crazy.

The TULA Bright All Night Sheet Mask was in my monthly BoxyCharm box for February. I’d never heard of TULA Skincare, but was pretty eager to try it with my current skin situation. Now, let me tell you, I have tried a several other facial mask and did not get the results I wanted.

The packaging is holographic, so it immediately grabbed my attention when I opened my box.

I may or may not have had a bit of fun too taking silly photos with the mask on my face

I took and shower and washed my face well. Pulled my hair up and applied the mask per instructions. Honestly, I probably left my mask on more like 12-15 minutes because I was doing other things and lost track of time. (OOPS) Applying the mask to my face was easy, you literally line the eye, nose and mouth cutouts up with yours and smooth onto the face. The mask lays pretty flush with your face and you can use your hands to smooth it out.

The mask is cool and feels pretty refreshing. There was no tingling or burning during or after using. After taking some silly photos I did have to preposition the mask, but it was due to me moving my facial skin around. When I removed the face mask, I rubbed the left over serum into my skin and tossed the mask into the trash.

I could actually instantly see a big difference on my face. My red cheeks appeared toned and my skin was soft and not dry! The serum was silky and did not take long to dry at all. It was literally like a spa treatment at home for a fraction of the cost. This was the first time in several weeks my skin was not screaming for help. The mask did exactly what it said!

The only thing I can honestly say needs to be addressed is the lip cutout. I have full lips and had a slight issue getting them to fit the cutout properly. I can imagine anyone with lips fuller than mine will also need to stretch the cutout some to get it to fit just right.
