ColourPop Cosmetics Baby Got Peach Eyeshadow
One of the latest palettes by ColourPop is Baby Got Peach. It’s a 9 shade pastel peach monochromatic palette with 5 matte shadows. 3 shimmers and 1 glitter. The glitter shade is holographic in light changing from a white to a gold. The shimmer shades are gorgeous and my favorite from this collection.
Taking photos of the swatches proved to be a task. This palette is a pastel with 2 darker accent/blending shades. It seemed like no matter where I tried to photograph the swatches they just didn’t look right. I was finally able to get one photo (after 35+) that represented the shades pretty accurately.
Half Baked is the darkest shade in this palette and Darlin is a very light super pastel peach shade. Centerfold is a true peach color. Okurr is a darker true peach. Hungry Ghost is a pressed glitter perfect for highlighting the inner eye or topping a finished look off.
My Thoughts
This palette is affordable which is amazing. $12 for a good eyeshadow palette is a steal! The hues are soft enough for everyday use with darker shades for more dramatic looks. There are many options for fun looks within the one palette, so you can dress up a cut crease with ease or use one color for a pretty look.
I love that ColourPop palettes can be used by professional makeup artist and novice users. The colors blend well with a regular blending brush. You will find the eyeshadow stays in place longer with the use of an eyeshadow primer.
If you don’t have this palette yet, you can grab it from ColourPop for $12! It’s defiantly a great addition to any makeup collection and perfect for a stocking stuffer for a teen.
