How To Get Rid Of Crow’s Feet With Natural Oils

Get rid of crows feet

Aging is a blessing many ladies pray for and it’s a part of life we all experience. But there are some things that come with it that aren’t so desirable. Crow’s feet (wrinkles around the eye) is one of them.

You may have recently found this inevitable sign of aging is gradually catching up with you. I always tell women that it’s easier to try and prevent aging of the face than it is to treat or correct. While showing signs of aging is inevitable at some point, there is something you can do about it right at home. Let’s talk about how to get rid of crow’s feet.

A Little About Wrinkles Around The Eye

Just as briefly stated above, crow feet are wrinkles that you see close to the corners of your eyes. Some women even call them lines around the eyes. You can see crows feet every time you smile or laugh or do most facial expressions. There are tiny muscles around the eyes that tend to contract. This contraction overtime is what results to Crow’s feet. And since your face is one of the most exposed parts of your body, it is usually more susceptible to wrinkles than other parts.

There are basically two types of wrinkles – static and dynamic. Dynamic wrinkles are obvious only when you smile or laugh and disappear after that, while static stays on whether you are smiling and laughing or not.

What Causes Crow’s Feet?

  • Rubbing your eyes frequently or squinting
  • Collagen damage as a result of smoking
  • Roaming of free radicals that damages the skin due to too much exposure to the sun without sun protection
  • A drop in estrogen levels as a result of menopause
  • Sleep pattern – when you are fond of sleeping on only one side
  • Aging generally

Crow’s feet can make you appear much older than you really are and can develop at any age. If you have started seeing the lines, you need to get to work on stalling it or at least reducing its appearance. Here’s how to get rid of crow’s feet.

Like argan oil, avocado oil also encourages the production of collagen which is needed for a youthful look (3). It is very good at fighting off aging and wrinkles. You can choose to eat avocado fruit or apply its oil to the affected areas. Just use your fingertips to apply it to the wrinkles. It’s advisable that you do not apply this oil more than once in a day.

Other Remedies That Minimize Crows Feet Eye Wrinkles:

Egg white – whisks and apply to your face down to your neck. Leave on for 15 to 25 minutes and then rinse off. Don’t do this more than 3 times a week.
