PÜR Glitterally Pink Brightening Peel Off Face Mask Review
Hey Lovies! The last few days I’ve been able to try the PUR Cosmetics x Barbie Glitterally Pink Brightening Face Mask. When it came in last months BoxyCharm I was very excited because I adore peel off masks.
The PÜR X Barbie™ Glitterally Pink is a brightening peel off mask created with a mineral based glitter formula. It’s cruelty free, vegan and gluten free. This sparkly pink mask claims to help clean pores and exfoliate the facial skin to deliver radiant skin.
This is a super fun pink glitter mask with promises of exfoliating, hydration and glowing skin. The pink Barbie theme is in celebration of sixty years of Barbie!
Glitterally Pink is a peel off mask that’s simple to use. If you’re not familiar with peel off mask (you need to be), they are literally applied to the face, dry and you peel them off. If you’re a newbie, it’s ok. You’ll quickly find a love for the relaxing pampering time.
I’m sure at some point any face mask lover has tried a face mask that was darn near impossible to use evenly. However, this is not one of them. I applied it with clean hands and it spread out perfectly with no streaks. I only used a small amount and was able to cover my entire face. This was a big plus for me, because I commonly need to use a makeup brush to apply face mask products.
The pink is daring and super glittery. Sweet! Sadly, I had a tough time photographing. The mask did really sparkly and show sparkly glitter.
The face mask dries pretty quick. I’m sure it’s because of the consistency as it isn’t as thick as some mask products I’ve used in the past. I prefer the consistency because it allows for a neater application and gives you sufficient time to spread it well before thickening up.
Peel off is simply! I knew when it was fully dry by how tight it felt on my face. it was not an uncomfortable tight, however I could feel that it was dry. Removing the mask was easy; really a breeze. There was no left over pieces to peel off and it pretty much peeled off in two sections. Sweet!
I did notice the ingredients list Polyvinyl Alcohol. Now, it’s pretty common in peel-off masks for its ability to create a thin layer on top of the skin so that these masks can be simply removed. However, it could cause irritated skin. So, use with caution if you do have sensitive skin.
Final Thoughts on Glitterally Pink Peel Off Mask
As I mentioned above, it’s a really pretty mask and perfect for a girly selfie! However, did it live up to the claims for me? Sadly, I didn’t see bright glowing skin I hoped for. I know, my heart was pretty sad because I have never used a PUR product that I didn’t love. Now, I’ll say after removing the mask and washing my face, the skin did feel soft. I just didn’t have a visible result of brightening.
