Sugar Scrub Recipe For A DIY Body Scrub

sugar scrub recipe

A diet loaded in too much sugar will not do your skin any favors, however incorporating it into your beauty routine will deliver some pretty sweet results. Sugar makes a great DIY face exfoliator and body too!

A sugar scrub is a simple body treatment that you can do right at home on a budge! It’s specific benefits include skin exfoliation which removes off dead skin cells, unclogs pores, and increases blood circulation to the skin. This promotes the continual renewal of skin cells to reveal younger, healthier skin that gives the skin a natural radiance and is really soft and looks like you’ve been to a spa.

One major factor in great skin is exfoliating frequently (a minimum of 1-2 times per week). I’m in an especially hot and dry climate that loves to dry my skin out. Typically, I exfoliate three times weekly. This regime is not prime for everybody, but it’s what works best for my dry skin and keeps my pores unclogged.

All of my DIY beauty lovers will be glad to know that you don’t need an expensive trip to a spa for good sugar scrub products. Homemade sugar scrubs work just as well and they make for a fun project.

Instead of buying scrub, I like to make use this sugar scrub recipe and create my own sugar scrub bars. They are similar to soap but don’t make the mess of regular scrubs. Today I’d like to share with you a simple homemade sugar scrub recipe that works great!
