NettyBird Cosmetics Lipstick & Gloss Swatches

I love finding new brands, especially small indie brands. A few weeks ago I asked some friends for recommendations for new brands that offered killer lipstick. After a girlfriend said she loved NettyBird and recommended their lipsticks, I decided to check them out.

The brand, NettyBird Cosmetics is pretty new to the makeup scene and based out of Palm Beach County, FL. The brand currently has lip gloss, matte lipstick, eyeshadow palettes and highlighters.

I ordered 2 lip gloss and 3 liquid lipsticks in shades that I thought I’d like. The variety gave me hues of pink, purple, gray and orange! Yay!

NettyBird Lip Gloss

The NettyBird lip gloss has a nice glossy finish without a sticky feeling. It glides on easily and one swipe gives your lips a beautiful color. With an MSRP of $14.99, it’s affordable! I’m all about affordable cosmetics that offer good bang for my buck.

NettyBird Matte Liquid Listick

NettyBird’s matte is my favorite and these lippies rock! The term lip gloss on the website is confusing, but this is really a liquid matte lipstick.

The color payoff of great, they last a good amount of time and have a matte finish. I did not need multiple layers of the liquid lipstick to get the desired shade. This is important because many liquid lipsticks need multiple layers which end up getting all over teeth and create flaking. I used one layer to line my lips and one layer to fill it in.

My favorite shades were Tomboy and Endurance. I’ve searched for a perfect gray for 2 years, and the shade TomBoy is it! The hue is everything I wanted in gray that last. Endurance is the orange liquid lipstick and it’s vibrant and screams summer.

The first three swatches are the matte lipsticks and the bottom are the gloss.

Final Thoughts

I like that the company is in the USA because my orders arrive fast. They are also active on social media, which is a plus! It seems like the lipstick formula has been tweaked to perfection. NettyBird products are affordable with an excellent quality. If you like long lasting liquid lipstick, you got it.

I was so impressed with this purchase, I placed a second order to try the highlighters and eyeshadow palette!
