What It Does
This face scrub gently exfoliates and uses active ingredients to refresh and restore facial skin. It’s designed to de-tan and restore skin to a healthy even state with improvement of uneven skintone.
This is achieved by exfoliation. Removing dead skin cells to reveal healthier brighter facial skin.
Additionally, other ingredients are believed to help fight signs of aging, dark circles and skin brightening.
My Thoughts
First of all, the face scrub is packaged in a pretty blue box thats great for gifting! I enjoy the scent. It is very clean smelling with hints of sweetness and does not smell like many skincare products. The texture is creamy with small exfoliating particles. The base is very creamy feeling.
I typically use this in the shower. I apply it to my face using circular motion for about a minute and rince. After I use this and dry my face, it feels like I’ve had a full facial. My skin is soft and the softness last. My skin feels freshly moisturized even without applying any.
I suffer from facial redness and this has helped the pesky red areas. I’ve been using it 2-3, times per week for two weeks and have noticed a 50% reduction in redness. I can’t wait to see what week three and four brings.
My face also tends to get dry often. When I use the Blue Nectar Ayurvedic Kumkumadi Brightening Face And Anti Aging Scrub, my face feels moisturized and not dry at all. It’s almost like an instant moisture boost.
I’m very pleased with the Blue Nectar Brightening Face And Anti Aging Scrub and can’t wait to try their entire skincare line.
One thing you may notice on their website if you’re from the USA is spelling. You will see the term anti-ageing and it looks like a misspelling, however, it is a variant of anti-aging used in British English and used in India. Don’t let that discourage you, just do a bit of research on the difference in spelling. With the product being offered in the US, I’d love to see packaging specific for different regions, so potential customers relate easier.
